Coronavirus (English version)
Dear parents/carers,
In the Netherlands, new measures against the spread of the coronavirus will apply from tomorrow 16 March 2020. These measures apply until at least 6 April. Minister Slob and Minister Bruins explained the measures (based on today's emergency meeting) during a press meeting this afternoon. This means that all schools will close. So will our school.
However, we will organize distance education. Furthermore, we would like to make an inventory of which children, whose parents are working in the vital processes, need shelter on which days.
Distance education
We're going to create distance education where possible. This has already started last week for the children who were at home. As a team we will further elaborate and expand this in order to provide education from distance. More information will follow as soon as possible by mail. You will receive a push message on our Boschuil app.
Parents in vital professions
As a school, we arrange childcare, during school hours, for those children whose parents work in vital professions. Of course, children of these parents can only come to school if they are complaint-free.
That is why we want to make an inventory of which children it concerns. When we talk about vital professions, we are talking about jobs in the following sectors:
- care
- transportation
- tutors
- drivers
- food chain
- transport
- childcare
- media and communication
- emergency services
- central government
If you are working in one of these vital professions and you have no possibility for care of your child(ren) during school hours, please let us know by sending an e-mail to Carmen van Krevel, c.vankrevel@skpo.nl. Of course the children are only welcome if they are complaint-free.
In the mail you mention this: ● your child's name and group; ● your profession; ● the days on which you want to make use of the childcare facility by school next week.
In the coming weeks we will keep you regularly informed by mail.
If you have any further questions, you can always contact us.
Kind regards,
Carmen van Krevel
